Homecoming Bonfire 2010

To start a good ol bonfire, you need someone that has permission and a lot of fire starter. This person is very special because we would not have the Southeastern annual bonfire. To make this possible with out our every own Southeastern police officer.

The fire is always fun to watch. I guess it is the shapes that the fire makes while being fed oxygen from the air. This year's bonfire was record setting. It was said to be one of the hottest bonfires that Southeastern community have ever seen.

The fire was so hot people who were setting on the first five rows of the amphitheater had to move because the temperature was over 200 degrees. It got so hot on stage that the sound crew had to move the equipment back from the fire so it would not melt.

Beside the hottest of the fire, there was entertainment for the students. The entertainment was brave to preform next to the fire.

Students also cheered for the BIG MAN ON CAMPUS. Ronnie Willrich was the winner of the competition. He raised over 6 hundred dollars.

Taylor Painter came in close behind Willrich. He accepted the 2nd place title.

Although the bonfire was a hot one, it was a good way to kick start the Homecoming weekend.
